In Ghana, over 4,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer annually, almost half of them die. Studies show that women in Ghana are diagnosed at more advanced stages of the disease – up to 70% of women have advanced stage cancer by the time it is identified. Our Club was Chartered on  13^th October, 1995 which marks would Breast Cancer day. The Battle against Breast cancer just like any form of cancer can be won. The main way of winning the battle is early detection and mitigating the risk factors.
