Rotary International in its efforts to fulfill its area of focus. Disease prevent and Treatment, has pioneered the fight against polio since 1978. In 1985, Rotary launched the PolioPlus initiative; a global fund aimed at supporting Polio prevention and treatments efforts all across the globe. As a formidable Rotaract club in Rotary District 9104, we always go out in our numbers clad in crimson red and other Rotary Branded Paraphernalia to Immunize children under the age of 7 in our various communities who have not yet been vaccinated with the Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV).
