In the first Quarter of the Create Hope in the World Rotary year, tragedy struck our club when we lost a sister, a friend and a confidant who we all had grown fond of; Rtr. Adjoa Bortsewah Mensah in a fatal  Road Accident on the N4 (Accra-Kumasi highway), in this regard we decided to keep our friends legacy by annually embarking on a drive-Safe Campaign to sensitize drivers and all other road users alike on the dangers on the various national Highways and the need to stay safe on the various highways and also relay concerns of the drivers while plying the countries major highways with the most prevalent fatal vehicles crashes concerns to the state agencies and Authorities Responsible for addressing them, and in the long run improving safety of all and sundry who use these routes. This project was executed in collaboration, The Rotary and Rotaract clubs of Accra Ring Road Central, Corporate Bodies-(Roberts and Sons, DVLA, Ghana Police Service-MTTD, TV-Africa, Claron Health, Enterprise Life, National Road Safety Commission, VIP-Jeoun Transport Service, Dr. DoGood). Over 500 various road-users who participated ranged from pedestrains, articulator truck drivers, taxi drivers, motor cyclers etc. most of whom were provided with free eye screening, renewal of expired vehicle and driver documentation by approved state institutions as mandated by law. The project cost ¢1645.00
