Lawrence Bahun-Wilson, a passionate individual with an ambition to make a difference in the world of Banking and Finance laid the foundation of his career at the prestigious University of Ghana Business School, and on the path of becoming a Chartered Accountant by studying ACCA. He is a proud APSU.

Lawrence’s professional journey has taken him through esteemed institutions such as Phoenix Insurance in Ghana and Jeroyaf Accounting & Tax Services in Aurora Colorado, USA, where he worked as an intern and gained invaluable experiences. These experiences provided him with real-world experience, allowing him to apply theoretical knowledge acquired in school.

Currently, he is a Corporate Banking Relationship Officer at the First Bank Ghana and is making waves, building strong connections with corporate clients and paving his way towards the dream of becoming an Investment Banker.

Beyond his professional pursuits he is also a Humanitarian and a proud member of the Rotaract Club of Accra-Ring Road Central. He joined the club in 2019 and has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to service and community development from being an active Guest to becoming a full member in 2023.

He has taken on the role of the Fundraising Director in the year 2023/2024 and under his leadership, successfully organized the “Shoot for Her Success” charity football tournament between Rotarians and Rotaractors. This event not only united Rotarians and Rotaractors but the funds raised will be used to sponsor a literary writing competition for Accra Girls Senior High School in March 2024 and this is in line with Lawrence’s passion to empower the girl child.

When Lawrence isn’t making waves in the financial and philanthropic spheres, he finds solace in his hobbies such as experimental cooking, traveling and swimming.

As Lawrence prepares to take on the role of Club President for the Rotaract Club of Accra-Ring Road Central in the 2024/2025 Rotary year, his vision is clear: To lead the club in initiating impactful service projects, collaborating with local organizations and empowering the members of the club.

With a competent team by his side, he is poised to lead the club towards greater heights, embodying the true essence of Fellowship Through Service.
